Why are farmers in Punjab, Haryana, and Telangana protesting? What will be the consequences of the recent ordinances issued by the central government?

It will have really serious consequences.

govt will always tell thier benefits that's how it do things.

When they did demonetization they said there will be curb in black money, corruption and bank interest rate will be down and there will be no maoist activity but sir it failed because u were not told the other side.

I am son of farmer i can tell u the side effects of this amendment

1. Govt removed the intra state trade barriers but what u think in a country where the average land holding of 86% percent farmer is less than 2 hectare can the farmer from Assam sell his produce in Kerala it is impractical due ro transportation costs its second flaw will be the state govt will not give enough attention to its farmer such as Bihar govt can let thier farmers let on the prices being given in haryana , farmers will be caught in vicious trap where they will be left helpless.

2. Storage facilities , yeahh it is right that india is now self sufficient in food but can u tell me then why we are in the highest rank among the malnourished nation and why we are even lagging behind pakistan in hunger index. Just because u wanna develop a strorage infrastructure u are going to go away with the srorage act , it is like u stop wearing cloths because u just can't clean them regularly we need managment and govt investment in this sector because this sector is very volatile sector and the big players will manipulate not only farmers but also consumers to control the prices and it is very important ro govt to takeover this sector and regulate it.

3. Why going away with Apmc act a lot of contractors will lose thier job not only them but also a huge work force that work under them they are also the lender for the small and needy farmers and most of the rural banking depends upon them . banks don't give loan to small farmers and what will the uneducated and landless farmers will do for avialing loans they will just jobless and will end in working in someone's else farms that will make rich richer and poor more poorer.

4. Also important is to look at the contract farming but what will happen if company doesn't satisfied with the produce at that time because of whatever reason, govt listen to problem and is answerable to farmers at least in election but the company will simply end up refusing the produce thens what will happen to the farmer what if company tries to manipulate the prices of farmer by wrongly finding fault in his produce what if company refuses to take produce on the fixed price

Then there is a provision that farmer cant even go to the court this will came under the special court formed under sdm

We all know how famous is police for corruption and then will play for big players.

There are no provision for Msp

I agree with some amendments but all this is not fully conceptualized and practically much fruitful to the farmers as one sided shown by the govt anyway if govt is really concern about farmer then why they are going away with Msp, fix the msp and give whatever the more price u wanna give but by all this i dont think it is in the farmers favour or let me say that some industralist are framing our policy , who knows.

Also for people who thinks that it will work i want to tell u that firstly the indian farming sector is way different feom other sectors also these all reforms are already in place in America from where they are copied and american govt provided 100s of billion of dollar of subsidy there still farmers are bankrupted.

God knows what govt want to do what will happen to Indian farmers ,only god knows.
