what changes covid has brought in our lives [HAS CORONA CHANGED OUR LIVE FOREVER]

 Globally, year 2020 came carrying with it the most dreadful corona virus!

As the pandemic situations was not known for the mass population, initially it brought the unknown fears and uncertainty of future, thereby maintaining extra precautionary measures to fight it, especially Delhi(my abode) being on one of the topmost affected cities. But the awareness towards the disease made the situation for me not so troublesome, as I was anticipating earlier.

When I look back at the earlier months, the situation has made positive changes in our lifestyle. We learnt to live happy and peaceful life in least resources too.

No morning walks, no outings, no shopping, no get together, no helpers, no maids, during the lockdown period, but each and every member of my family shared the overall responsibility so well, especially taking care of the elderly person(my 90 years old father-in-law). Life went on its own way without any serious problem.

Nothing went wrong, only household management changed, that too for our safety and progress.

Such as, work from home jobs and online academic classes of children, changed my sweet home to office/meeting rooms/ college/exam. room and above all the residence.

Daily routine of rough and tough life became more conscious and use of sanitizer, masks, gloves, disinfectant, cleansing materials etc. have been on top priority in grocery shopping.

Frequent offline shopping changed into bulk online order to minimise contact as much as possible and avoid any such contamination.

New technology, new system made my life easier and comfortable too.

Social distancing made me active on social media to communicate with all my near and dear ones.

Meanwhile, I learnt few knacks of computer handling, that earlier I avoided, the credit goes to my children!

Similarly my children learnt the art of basic personal as well as household management, equally balancing with their professional goals. The lock down period turned into a training period for them. They got interested in cooking, sewing, gardening, giving a nice hair cut to grandpa and even mending the slippers!

Nowadays, I also feel concern about the internet connectivity, that was of no use for me before the pandemic.

Truly, human can adjust themselves in every circumstances, whatever the nature or future has in store.
